The 2009 Ford Focus RS

What does RS mean for every Ford enthusiast? We tell you, it represents legend and the legend continues in 2009 with the launch of the new Ford Focus RS. The last RS model left us with a great impression and this year we are going to see if the new model can reclaim the title of "King of Hot Hatches".

What impresses the most at the new Focus RS is the exterior design. It simply is extraordinary aggressive, but in the same time creates a pleasant impression. The interior is also good looking, being fitted with RECARO sport seats that will definitely be of great help to the driver during tight turning maneuvers. Maintaining the tradition, this model will only be available in three colors: Indianapolis Blue, Frost White and Performance Green. All these fade away when you get to the technical part. The engine is going to be a 2.5 liter turbocharged unit, capable of 300 BHP that are going to push the car to 60 Mph in only 5.9 seconds. Surprisingly, it comes only with front traction, but the producers say that it won't have any problem in putting all that power to the road because of a revolutionary suspension called Revo Knuckle and a limited slip differential. All we have to do is wait for a test drive.
